<p>My son also did the Berklee 5 week between junior and senior year. You may want to look into this program. You can apply for scholarship consideration, but the deadline is in winter. I think for this past year, the scholarship applications had to be in before March 1. He’d play in some ensemble groups, and get a real taste of what music school is like. Plus, he’d get a good idea of how he stacks up against the competition. You also have the opportunity to audition for scholarships to Berklee during the 5 week program.</p>
