Need Advice on Getting into PA school

So, I need some good advice. I'm a junior in my undergrad, currently have a 3.4 GPA. My first semester I goofed off, got a few Cs on my transcript, including general chem. Since then though I have consecutively gotten a 3.8+ in my upper level biology courses, including a B+ in organic I. For the most part I have straight As now though. I know gen chem is a weed out class but do you think I could still get in since I've showed so much improvement? What should I do? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

This is pretty standard:

Submit official transcripts from all colleges attended, personal statement, and three (3) letters of recommendation as part of your CASPA application.

A minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in the United States.

Completed the prerequisite courses in the natural sciences and humanities prior to matriculation into the program. There is a five-year currency requirement at the time of application for Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II and Microbiology unless you have remained clinically active in the health care arena. Challenge exams will be considered on an individual basis.

An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) in all courses and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in science coursework.

A minimum of 500 hours of health care experience.
