Need Advice on Intl Transfer

Alright a little about me.
(sorry for long read)

I went to High school in Quebec,Canada the 3 years before my senior year i finished first in my class (out of 270 or so i think), unfortunately my last year for personal reasons i barely ever went to class and graduated with a 82/100.

After high school i had no idea what i wanted to do and going to university undecided made no sense to me at the time. So i traveled around South america, Mexico and stayed in L.A for a while. I came back 3 years later focused and ready to go. I really wanted to study in the U.S , half my family lives here and i prefer the schools.

Second mistake:
I took my SAT's last year and went in there unprepared without studying thinking that my English was good enough(french is my first language). Scored 780M, 650CR and 550W.

So now i'm in my first semester a community college in the states Majoring in Pre-Med planning to transfer after 2 years. Classes are going very well and although i don't like predicting a 4.0 it's very improbable that i will get any lower for the semester. I'm applying to schools that give the most financial aid to intl students/canadian citizens. Most of these schools are Reaches for me; Amherst, Oberlin and some of the ivies.

Now for the questions.
1-Intl students often are only required to send in either the ACT OR the SAT
should i take the ACT and never submit my SAT scores? Also if i take SAT subject tests and submit them will my SAT I scores be submitted as well?

2-Are there any "good fit" schools for me that aren't as selective as most of the ivies/stanford and top lib arts colleges and give a good amount of financial aid to international students?(my parents are in the <50k$ bracket)

3-I know getting in to med school in the states as an international is extremely rare ( i think only 50/125 MD programs even look at intl applications) with that said, would changing my major increase my chances at undergrad admission?

thanks

weekly bump.
