I'm very interested in learning and becoming fluent in a foreign language.
My foreign language of choice is Arabic. However, I don't think it would be beneficial for me to major in Arabic, as it wouldn't open up as many doors as I would like.
Therefore, I was thinking something along the lines of International Relations.
I would still like to learn Arabic though, any suggestions? I would love to travel.

Uh… Hello? Americans that speak Arabic are high in demand, whether you work for the State Dept, UN, Texaco, or help open a McDonalds in Dubai.

If you like the Islamic world, try looking into area studies for the Middle East (a major). If you like Arabuc and its sister languages, majoring in linguistics for near eastern languages can be quite beneficial, especially if you learn Arabic, and somr Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Uzbek, Farsi, etc.
