So I took the June SAT, and prepared by taking a prep class for around 4-6 weeks before the test. I didn't really prepare outside of class(i should have) and when I got my SAT scores back i was disappointed by my scores--i'm not going to post my scores because i really don't want any harsh criticism. I have a few things going on this summer, and i will be taking the October SAT this fall so i have time to study. A lot of people on here have been talking about prep books, and i'm looking for good practice books and a large book with a bunch of practice tests so i can prepare and study on my own for the upcoming SAT. I was in Borders the other day looking at all of their SAT material, but i had no idea what to look for/purchase. I don't know whether to get workbooks for CR Math and Writing or to get a large book full of practice tests.

I would like some advice on what i should do and how to get started. Also, if you could lead me to possible books that i could use to begin studying that would be great. I really appreciate any good advice, thank you.
