Hello everyone.

I just looked at my March results and got the following:

Combined: 2200
CR: 680
Math: 760
Writing: 760 (Essay: 12, MC: 71)

This was my second time taking the test. Originally I received a 2040 (630/750/660), and am extremely happy with my 160 point improvement. i did very little studying, as I was busy with extracurriculars and school, but I did find some time to do a few practice sections. Ideally, I would like to get a 2300+, but would be content with 2250+. I am currently a junior and am planning on taking my final SAT in October, which would leave me the entire summer/september to prepare. Here are my concerns:

Math: I know I am able to get an 800. To give you context (not to brag), I am #1 in my class of Calculus BC (which is fairly competitive, most of the students in there are seniors), received a 5 on Calculus AB last year, and compete in several math competitions. Coming into the march test, I did virtually no studying for math, assuming I would receive an 800 provided that I made no stupid mistakes. However, after receiving a 760, I am considering doing more math problems so i dont make stupid errors. I always understand every question, so it is not a matter of my mathematical reasoning ability. Would doing problems be a valuable use of my time, or did I just get unlucky the last two times I took the SAT?

Critical Reading: I was pleased with receiving a 680, yet would ultimately like to break into the 700s and maybe attain a score of 720+. Given that I am going to devote a decent portion of my summer to preparing for the SAT, by how many points could I reasonably raise my score. How much of my time should I set aside for studying the more obscure vocabulary? Are there any good study strategies for studying besides reading the New York Times, doing practice tests, and memorizing vocabulary?

Writing: I am confident in my ability to write a 12 essay, yet the multiple choice sometimes annoys me. I am fairly good at grammar, but there are a few obscure questions that sometimes choke me up. How should I go about studying in order to improve my writing multiple choice?

My ideal score (that is still somewhat reasonable) is roughly as follows:

CR: 750
Math: 800
W: 800

Given the amount of time that I have to prepare and my previous scores, is this a reasonable score for me to obtain? If so, how much of my summer should I expect to be studying. Thank you very much.
