Need blind+ international + low-income = advantageous?

If the school is need blind, will low-income be advantageous even if I am an international student?

Thanks.

Many need blind schools aren’t even need blind for international students. So I’m going to have to go with no.

What about HYPS?

I believe they are, yes. If they truly are need-blind for you, then being low income will certainly help you.

No. Being a low income international will not be an advantage anywhere. The institutional goals applied to domestics are not the same for internationals. For an international the big advantage is being from a country with little representation.

Stanford is not need blind for intnls and H and Y have every intnl and their mother applying…the advantage at those is being a god.

Colleges like to see low income students because they’ve shown they can overcome adversity, not because they want to report that X% of their students come from poor families.

hahahahahahahahaha! I do like the idealistic, but this is just too well documented.
