I'm not exactly sure what to think of it. Is there an opening in the business school that I originally applied to?

From your posting history, you appear to have applied to NU as a transfer student. It is an acceptance email. You may want to call admissions to clarify that it is CBA that you were admitted to.

Thank you for putting the effort into checking out my posting history!

What confuses me is the “Northeastern University’s Residential Day College” part. Any idea what that means?

I think it means the regular undergrad program, which is different from CPS. If you applied to CBA, then it probably is for that program, but like Tom says, you will only know for sure if you call.
