Need computer help!! (GPIB connectivity issues)

<p>Not sure if this forum is ideal for my request, but maybe someone can help me.
I'm looking for help diagnosing & fixing a computer communication issue: connecting and operating Agilent & HP hardware using National Instruments cables & software (LabView).</p>

<p>The university does have a service account with NI tech support, but they've been fairly useless in attempts to fix the issue.
Ideally, I think I need a comp sci or engineering major to stop by the lab for an hour or so and help (computer illiterate) me find & fix the problem. If this ends up being a complicated issue, my advisor is willing to negotiate fair compensation for your efforts.
