D working on her classes last night has very tough upper level classes due to exemptions....so she doesn't flunk out her first semester looking for some recommendations by upperclassmen for some easier classes to balance a tough schedule....PM me or post either way.

Also, she hates literature after h.s. and is dreading that requirement (if AP does not exempt her...) so any recs on that are appreciated.

Any profs you would avoid in Math, Computer science or Physics?
And does physics count for a lab science ???

Take any religious studies class taught by Peter Kaufman...it is the highest rated dept at UNC (and one of the top 3 in the US) and he is one of the best of a very strong faculty group. He often teaches freshman classes or honors classes. It won't necessarily be easy but will be well worth the time and one of the better classes she will have at UNC.

My easy classes were Anth 10, Hist 23? (Hist. of Popular Music), Musc 144 (Hist. of Country Music) and surprisingly Physics 104 --Pierce was AMAZING!!!!! (and yes, I think it does count for a lab science, it should say on the registrar's site)...and if she's into band, then marching band (I <3 Band @ UNC)
