Need Grade for Essay

Hello! If someone could grade my essay, it would be appreciated

Prompt: "Each fresh crisis we encounter is an opportunity in disguise" What are your thoughts on the statement? Your essay may support, refute, or qualify the view expressed in the statement

My Essay (I did it in the time constraints, so I have only quickly skimmed, but not really thoroughly edited):

Those who have suffered and gained from great adversity will take pleasure in the saying that "each fresh crisis we encounter is an opportunity in disguise." It has always been evident that conflict and obstacles come hand in hand with opportunity. Through various examples in literature and history, one can see that benefits do indeed come disguised as crisis.

In the novel, "A Wrinkle in the West" by Archie Griffins, the protagonist Marie Montag faces great challenges through her journey to become a doctor. One of the biggest problems she faces is that midway through her journey, she finds out her mother is ill. Having to put aside her dreams and tend to her mother, Marie is pushed to give up. However, she soon finds her own way to get through this obstacle. Mary finds her her own way of curing her mother. By doing this, she was able to benefit from the challenging situation she was forced into. She was soon recognized as the town doctor, and was able to fulfill her goal without completing her journey.

In 1916, Canadian Eleanor Brown also faced a similar crisis in which she was able to benefit. While her country began to face grave peril, the residents of Canada foresaw no way out of the situation, However, Brown proposed that the residents should pay more taxes on merchandise so more revenue could be accumulated by the government. This did indeed fix the crisis by helping the economy, and Brown was in turn made Governor General of Canada.

Mary Montag and Eleanor Brown are two of the various examples that illustrate the fact that opportunity does come disguised as crisis. One must simple know the way to find it.

I am aware that tensing is iffy, and probably a bunch of other things. Do they look at that?

If you can fix up the grammar errors, this essay definitely merits a five. I’d recommend making it a bit longer too - add another example, and the length should be enough for a six.

Yes, I was intending to write three examples, but that was all that fit the constraints (I wrote it in a Practice Book first)

:) Thank you, that was greatly appreciated
