Need Guidance! Do I have a chance at a BS/MD program?

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time reply to this post :) I am currently a high school sophomore, but I am in the IB program instead of the AP. How do BS/MD programs view the IB curriculum?

So far, my GPA is 4.00 unweighted, and I hopefully intend to keep it that way (I'm one of those people who say if it's not an A, then it might as well be an F, haha). I took pre-diploma (honors) physics last year, I REALLY liked it. That being said, my HL courses for next year look like this: HL Physics, HL Biology, HL Math, HL English. For those of you not in IB, HL courses are Higher Level courses, while SL is standard level. Usually, a student takes 3 SL and 3 HL courses, but 4 HL courses can be taken. Additionally, I'll be taking the SAT II's for chemistry and math, so my science courses are balanced out.

Extracurriculars:
- VEX Robotics Club (2 years; World Competition Qualifier for both years)
- Yearbook Club (member, 1 year - 3 by the time I graduate)
- FBLA (member, States for Networking Concepts)
- Science Olympiad (member; I go to a new school opened last year, so the club is in its starting phases. I <3 science)
- RCC - Red Cross Club (member)
- Tennis (9th grade: JV, 10th grade: Varsity -- switched between 3rd and 4th doubles, definitely going to be captain senior year because I'm the only sophomore on the team)
- Piano (2 years by the time April rolls around; I participated in the Constance Murray piano festival and received a superior award)
- Attended a BioPharmacy conference hosted by the Senator Andrew Dinniman for businesses. It was all CEOs and important people there.)

On of my mom's friends works for a university lab in Texas, so I will be doing research. Should I do it this summer, or should I wait until next summer when I'll have finished my junior year? For the IB, I have to write an extended essay, which is a research paper. As for volunteering, I haven't done any yet, but I will be starting very soon. I will be volunteering at a rehab center and a nursing home. I have shadowed a doctor for one day.

I'm the sort of person who does not do the best in anything I do, but will excel in everything I do. My problem is that my resume does not reflect my leadership skills.

Are there any suggestions on what I need to work on by the time I become a senior? The programs I will be applying to include: Northwestern, Brown, University of Pittsburgh, Rice U/Baylor College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve, PSU/Jefferson, and Drexel. Are there any programs I should take off this list or add? I don't want to apply to too many, as it will get very expensive. Thanks again for any suggestions!

I forgot to mention this, but I’ll also be doing National Honor Society.

Add Renseelear /AMC since it is a 7 yr program with focus on engineering/scientists. I would apply to as many as you can afford that you actually know you would go to if accepted. if you would never go down south for example then, I would not apply to that part of the country. These programs have widely varying merit scholarships so it is best to apply to many to get the best financial package since you don’t want to be buried with debt before medical school.

Again I would get some type of tutoring before even the PSAT since in N.J they base some instate scholarships on that . Of course the same is true for SATs and ACTs. Brown is like winning the lottery but I would still apply to see if it is meant to be. Good luck.

I know that this thread is really old, but I would like to thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I appreciate your input.

@InceptionRoyale How’d it go?
Are you currently a senior or a junior?
