Can your family pay the full tuition at American private colleges, or the out-of-state tuition at public ones? Your choices are extremely limited, if not. If you can pay, then there are literally thousands of colleges you can attend, and you should provide more detailed information about the sort of colleges you are looking for.

I do need about a 70% aid/ scholarship…

no i guess my family can pay 50% of it… so i need 50% scholarship or aid…

Hmmm, I’m not sure how much colleges usually cost in Bangladesh, but in the US, 50% leaves a lot of variability. Do you have a rough number (as in $10,000/year, $20,000/year etc.)?

Also, your SAT score is low if you need merit aid. Are you a senior? Have you considered trying the ACT?

What’s the budget in dollars?
Are you retaking the SAT? Will you be taking SAT Subjects or the ACT?
Based on your academic interests, can we assume you’re interested in humanities, or perhaps social sciences - as this would open up more possibilities at a variety of LACs and universities.

Well I guess I may retake the SAT 1 (though not sure yet). Moreover I will be giving my SAT 2 exam on Maths IIC, Physics and Chemistry and i am expecting a score in the range 2350-2400. My subject preferences are philosophy, physics. psychology, economics and mathematics. My family can pay a maximum of $30,000 /year. Moreover I will also give the TOEFL exam.
