Need help choosing CLASSES!

Hi,

I'm a senior next year and my intended career path is a health/rehabilitation profession, including physical therapy, or audiology (hearing doctor).

This is the classes that I intend on taking FOR SURE:

AP calculus
AP english
Spanish
Civics
AP biology
-empty

The last slot can be either:
-Ap physics
-anatomy and physiology (considered college-leveled)

I intended on doing just AP bio and anatomy and physio since it feels most applicable to my intended career path, but I know it's important to take some kind of physics since it is in college. But I'm sort of afraid to take both AP bio AND physics.

What are your thoughts? I am not SUPER great at math btw.. I do get A's all the time, but I'm not a crazy mathmatician - I am better @ body sciences and what not, I have taken sports medicine for 2 years.

I think if you’re aiming for Ivy league and other very top schools, then you should take AP Physics. If not, take the other class. Better to take something you’re more interested in than something you don’t care about.

No, I definitely don’t want to go to an Ivy league. I intend on going to UW or some private school around here. (UW is a public ivy, not too hard to get in)

I’d be more interested in A&P, but I don’t want to regret not taking some introductory physics.

I think you’d be better served by taking a CC physics class either this summer or the summer before you start college and taking the class you want in high school.

I don’t think I would take a class over the summer, mostly cause of financial reasons anyways. Would you still suggest A&P even without the physics?

I’ve heard both classes are pretty interesting. Personally, i would do AP Physics mostly because i know i can handle the rest of the courseload (calculus/english) and i like physics a lot.

which UW? washington or wisco?

i’d take anatomy, just because i don’t think you’ll need it for UW and (IMO) physics is rough.

It is in Washington.
