Need help deciding a paper topic (for a law class)

Hi all,

I know homework help isn't allowed here, but I'm not asking for that. I'd just like some suggestions for a topic to write a research paper on. Since it is for an introductory law class, it can be on any legal issue of our choice.

Anyone have some ideas?

Bump. 10char

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks for all the help. :(((((

There are some great education related law cases. Discipline, funding/property tax, segregation, disabilities, freedom of speech (clothing/uniforms/hair), etc.

I don’t know anything about law so I may be way off on what the subject is supposed to be, but why not just take some law/legal policy that you disagree with (gun control, labor restrictions, or whatever you disagree with that’s currently the policy in the US) and write about that?

You are asking too broad a question for anyone to give you any help. What is the focus of the class? What kind of paper is it supposed to be?

Have you looked through the class syllabus and the table of contents of your textbook? Are there chapters or topics that you tend to stop and look at for longer than others? That could lead you to find a specific area to write about.
