Whether applying early action for northeastern for business, or applying early decision for BU for economics. Can i get some help with these, i like them both alot i already visited them i guess it comes to where will i get a higher salary after i graduate any help with this thanks

Well… do both.

whats the point? if i do get into BU i will have to go there no matter what

Of course ED is binding at BU but that doesn’t preclude you from applying EA anywhere else. Why not keep your options open?

As far as starting salaries, each school has its statistics I am sure. Not something to be hung up on however as these are just “statistics”. What you earn as a salary when you graduate has much more to do with what “you” bring to the table.

thanks, another question if i would like to transfer to boston college in the future would i have a better shot at BU or NEU of transferring

As long as you do well at NU or BU, it doesn’t matter. I had a friend who did decently in High School, but just didnt make the BC cut. He went to an ok college in NY, got a 4.0 and got into BC as a transfer.

thanks thats really helpful, the reason im applying to one of these two schools early is becuase im an international student from Colombia in a class of 40 and about 10 a little more or a littles less perosns are applying to these two schools most of them have better grades than I so i want to apply and get accepted before anyone does, so thats why im deciding whether applying to BU or NEU

If you are thinking bout transferring to BC from either BU or NEU wouldn’t it just make sense to save money and do really well at a community college?

your game plan for school shouldnt be, go here, then transfer to here. go where you will enjoy yourself and where you feel you can succeed academically, once you get to a school, make great friends, you aren’t going to want to transfer to a more “prestigious” school. i know nu ranks in front of bu in business week’s business, but research each school socially, get an idea of the general student population and what there is to do for fun there and see if that’s up your ally.

Business week has NU at 26, BU at 37, BC 14
