Hi,

I really need help trying to find a career that suits my interests. I understand that in college you generally find out what you like, but at this point, I have no idea what I want to do, and I'm the type of person that needs to have some sort of goal, however vague it may be.

Here is what my ideal job would be (in order of most-least importance):
-Allow me to do business on an international scale. I know I won't be traveling for pleasure, but just interacting with people all over the world and doing on-site work there would be fun IMO. I'm also interested in learning other languages, so it would be nice if my penchant can be applied in my job as well.
-If I do international work, I'd really like to work with developing nations and perhaps helping their businesses grow, etc. I listed this as second most important because it would be more fulfilling than money (I think), but at the same time, don't take this too much into account because I understand that some industries probably wouldn't allow for this type of work. For example, what could a marketing major do to help developing nations? I'm guessing it's mostly only econ or finance majors that get this type of jobs, but perhaps I'm naive. Perhaps something like corporate development would suite me?
-Lucrative: I'm not going to sugar-coat it: I am pretty ambitious. As ridiculous as it probably sounds and is, 100k after working a long time isn't enough for me. I want to earn at least 125-130k eventually. I know this is probably immature of me, but for now, this is what it is. Perhaps I'll change in college.

So based on those characteristics, what could potentially be a good job for me? The fields I'm really interested in are Econ and Marketing, so would these apply to the international field in any way?

Speaking of marketing, people say that it's the least lucrative out of all the business majors, yet I know a few people that are making 70k+ right out of undergrad (one went to Ross, another went to Hass I think). While they may be exceptions, since my school (UT-Austin) is top 3 in marketing, if I transfer to McCombs, do well there, what is the probability of landing a really good job like that right out of undergrad?

thanks, and sorry for the long post.
