Need help figuring out my major..

So I am a sophomore at St. Edward's University. I am currently a Communication Major with a specialization in Media Arts and Broadcast Journalism. What this means is that aside from the core communication classes I get to take some video production and journalism classes. I picked this major mostly because I like video and would be interested in doing film someday.
Either as a videographer/documentary producer for Nat Geo, independent documentary or maybe someday hollywood.

I don't know if that is the best thing to do anymore though.
I've been reading elsewhere on this site that a Communication Major is useless. Since it's very hard to get a job with this and these jobs (such as videographer or journalist) don't even require a Comm Major or so I've heard.

I want to be able to get a job after college and then after a couple of years working and having figured out what I want to do I would go to graduate school.

I have been looking at several majors but I don't know what would be the best plan.

There is a Digital Media Management major here but it has a lot of business classes and I've never really been interested in business.

I have been interested in the human sciences for a while. I like sociology and psychology. I was thinking I could major in one of these. Sociology I'm not sure if it would be good, but psychology sounds interesting and I could still take some media classes on the side. I thought it could be a good major because it would give me a "knowledge base" to understand the world and contribute my ideas. Plus it would give me the option of going to graduate school with those in case I find I really like them. I plan to take a Intro to Psych class this summer to see if i'm really interested (since I never have).

I could either Major in those or stay with the Comm Major and minor in them (prob psychology).

Another option I am considering is staying with Communication and getting a minor in Computer Science. This would give me more marketability and I would know programming. However, I wouldn't be able to take anything else.

I might do an MFA Film later on, if I find that it's possible/worth it. Or I might try to go for M.S. Engineering if I find that I'm interested in pursuing that later on.

Career/skills tests have told me that I am a fairly analytical person.

I am really lost and don't know what is the best path for me. I would really appreciate any advice from anyone.

CC what say you? What should I do?
