<p>USC is officially my dream school. But I need to get the down-low on the school ;)</p>

<p>Cons, downsides, disadvantages to USC? Please tell!</p>

<p>los angeles is kind of an expensive area to live in, and dont believe that bruin garbage that its in the ghetto, its completely walled off and its in a working class neighborhood.
but other than that nothing really, its an up and coming school, it will become increasingly harder to get into!</p>

<p>You ask for the bad things, but why not the good?</p>

<p>I can’t say any cons because my friends and I all love attending. Everyone here can be happy. Downsides only occur if you let them, ie: not getting into your top sorority is a bummer for many girls, but they can have a ton of friends and do social things outside of that (glass half full). Anything negative is common to all colleges, ie: some professors are busy or really tough classes. On the other hand, some professors are really nice and take time to get to know you, and some classes here are a lot of fun!</p>

<p>If there’s something specific you’re worried/curious about, you can PM me. I’m going to be an RA in Community 1, so I’m used to anything :)</p>

<p>I know USC is a great school. Amazing film program, in a city with great weather, and other cool advantages :)</p>

<p>But if I were to go to USC, I want to know what I’m getting in to-including the bad. </p>

<p>What are your main concerns about the school? When you say “downsides,” what are you specifically referring to? (This could be ANYTHING! Social life? Size? Location? Classes? Major programs? Student population? Or…???)</p>

<p>Pros outweigh the cons by miles.</p>

<p>The bad: Overpriced housing for the working class neighborhood. To be fair, the area is heavily patrolled by private security and DPS so I’ve never had a safety issue.</p>

<p>Um… Westside Taco Bell closes at 11pm, which can sometimes be a travesty. 4th meal anyone!?</p>
