How would I get one? Do I just e-mail every single professor at a college? Any specific things to say or ask? If you guys could help that would be great. Thanks

I worked under a professor last year at her lab. Basically, I just emailed a bunch of professors that worked at schools in the area. Some responded and were interested, but many didn’t write back. Basically you just need to say that you are a high school student interested in their research and that you were wondering if you could help them out with any research projects they have. Include a resume too, that always helps. It might be too late now though. I started emailing in like December, and by February/March I had heard back from one who was interested. Then it took until May (we were writing emails back and forth) for her to figure out when I should be there and form some sort of schedule. I guess you could try anyway though.
