Need help!!! I want to go to yale!

My high school is small!

-Private Christian School

-Its only had 2 students get accepted into Ivies (1 to UPenn and 1 to Columbia).

-Its about 20 students per class.

-Honestly, a somewhat weak curriculum which is in part why i spend so much time studying for my standardized tests. I am very thankful for it anyways though as I know, there are some people who have it worse (such as many of those in my native land of Mexico).

-Very few AP classes (3: calculus, government, and environmental science)

-Offers only Spanish 1 and 2 so no four years of a foreign language

-Only student organizations offered are ASB (of which I'm a member) and National Honors Society of which I will be President next year.

Im a international, hispanic, junior student whose been studying endlessly for his SAT's and taken every challenging course offered and gotten an 96 (A) or better in it. I cross the border every day in order to go to school in the US. I am a volunteer for the Red Cross and teach a special education class on Sundays. I speak and still study French and play the guitar. I am pushing for a Academic Declathon team. I have a job as salesmen and secretary on weekends. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO ENANCE MY ACADEMIC AND EXTRACURRICULAR PROFILE. I WANT TO GO TO YALE SOOOOO BAD BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO ENHANCE MY RESUME AND SHOWCASE MYSELF. PLEASSEEE IM DEESPERATE. I AM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SO OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNSHIPS, COLLEGE CLASSES AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND PROGRAMS AT UNIVERSITIES ARE VERY RESTRICTED FOR ME (mainly because they are so expensive for students like me)! Any help, advise or suggestions will be gladly received!

Your application will be judged in the context of the educational experience available to you. The best thing you can do is to perform well in the challenging courses that your high school does deliver. Your secondary concerns will be to continue contributing to your school and community as well as your own self-development through your current activities and to prepare yourself for the best score you can attain on standardized tests, presumably to be taken next Spring.

However, if you do wish to expand your curricular opportunities beyond what is locally available you might consider taking a few AP courses online. Here are some places to explore:

Some of these will require you to submit standardized test scores to verify that you are ready for an accelerated curriculum.

Finally don’t underrate yourself and your situation. You sound as if you have an intriguing background and set of experiences to bring to whatever school you choose to attend. It is not every applicant who crosses the border each day to go to school.
