Need help in Fin Aid. Indian applying to public univs.

Hey all

I'll make it really quick:

I'm from India.

I'm applying to these 3 univs this week:

U Wash, Seattle

U Wisc, Madison

GaTech

These do not give Fin Aid to Intl students. So, what are grants/scholarships for Intl students that I can apply to?

Also, should I worry about filling out scholarship forms, financial aid just now? Or that is the thing IF I am accepted at one of the univs?

Please guide me through proper URLs as well.

Thanks
Karan

BUMP!

Need help ASAP!

Look at the International Students forum and the India students subforum. [International Students - College Confidential](International Students - College Confidential Forums)

And here is an old thread on international student aid. You’ll need to verify any older information by checking websites for specific colleges or programs.

^^ I couldn’t find much help in the India sub forum.

Geekzu…just do an internet search. I typed “University of Washington, Seattle, scholarships for international students” and got the link very quickly to the info for that school. My guess is you could do so for the others as well. This will tell you if the schools offer merit scholarship awards to international students…how to apply and what the criteria are.
