need help making college selection decision

Well, being that it's summer, I'm trying to take advantage of this time to search for colleges and universities but also keeping in mind the financial restrictions that come in hand. I've just finished my junior year at a Nevada high (which I will continue) and I received a 1710 on my sat exam, 26 on my act, and believe I have a 3.2 gpa. All of my core classes I've taken have either been of AP and honor rigor and I plan on taking AP Physics C and AP Calculus AB next year to better supplement my knowledge for the electrical engineering degree I'm pursuing for university, either at Unr or unlv given my adequate abilities. Also, I'm considering doing rotc at either one of these universities, but are there any recommendations for schools that provide an electrical engineering program, rotc, and financial aid for someone like me? With the exception of actively participating in jrotc for 3 going on 4 years, I'm not exactly the most involved student but I don't want to limit myself solely to In-state education.

also, I'm not exactly from a well-off family and financial aid is pretty much what'll hopefully help me make it through.

For any of us to answer we need to know a little more. What do you want/don’t you want in a school besides ROTC? Your intended major? Size? Location?

Have you looked into wpi rit or renslaer?
