Well I'm just jumping back and forth with which of these to take. JHU, CMU, UMD or Swarthmore.
My main hope was/is to major in BioMedical Engineering and then go on the Dental school(maybe).
Though before you tell me how good JHU's BME program is I was NOT accepted into it, I was just accepted into the school so I don't know whether Carnegie Mellon's double major in Materials Engineering and BME is better than JHU's Bio-Materials Engineering (which is what I would do there. Though another question of mine if anyone knows is whether non BME engineering majors get less attention and the short end of the stick or if the other fields of engineering at JHU are also respected).
Not to down play it, since I know its a great university for engineering, but I don't know whether University of Maryland -College Park's BioEngineering program would be better?
I've also been accepted to Swarthmore which I hear is a great school altogether but I don't know if its good for engineering compared to these others? Does anyone know how the social life is a Swarthmore compared to these other colleges in big cities?
These are the four school's I narrowed down to though I've also been accepted to Tulane and Rensselaer (if anyone think these two schools would be best for BME?)
Thanks for your feedback.

Unless you are 100% set on your major, you might want to give thought to the overall reputation of the school which would go in favor of JHU and Swarthmore and against U. Maryland.
