Need help on supplementary essay on

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you guys could help me think of an ethical dilemma I could use for my supplementary. I haven't faced any dramatic ones so it would be great if some ideas could be thrown at me.

Thanks a lot!

You don’t need something tragic, dramatic, or even mildly adverse to write about an ethical dilemma. It can be as simple as deciding whether or not to cheat on a test or even if you should backstab a friend for whatever incentive. The key to the essay (if I’m looking at this correctly) is how you write and reflect upon the dilemma.

I’m dead sure that admissions officers receive oceans of responses that are filled with all sorts of dilemmas. Some huge, others small, but if you can TRULY reflect on the dilemma with personal input in a concise and well thought way, I think that you can make your essay stand out.

I feel that you are doing your essay for all the wrong reasons. Like ldfire said, I’m sure the admissions office gets plenty of essays that are chock-full of personal drama, many of it insincere. The admissions personel can spot insincerity a mile away, so your best bet is to write from the heart.
