I am going to be taking the Bloomington Shuttle back to the airport after orientation in June. My reservation to get on the shuttle is going to be close to when the program ends. I assume I will get my bags at Wright (where we will be housed) and then get on the shuttle. Which stop is closest? The options are the Union, Wilkie, McNutt, or two off-campus hotels. Any ideas?

Wilkie or the Union are going to be your best bets. Wilkie is a bit closer, but the Union is easier for people new to campus to find. You should also take into consideration where the bus stops last. Although it may only give you a few extra minutes, it can help if you’re cutting it close on time.

You might want to also check the schedule for the Star America shuttle in case their times work better for you.

Don’t risk missing your shuttle, whatever you do. I don’t think anything after taking the math and language placement tests on the first day is even that important at orientation. The second day’s most important activity is registering for classes, and you can always just do that from OneStart when you get back home if you have to.

The Union would be better, it is closer if you walk there directly. Sometimes the bus isn’t completely on schedule because they may not have a full load - just warning you. If they do have many people, I’ve found it to be very accurate. Also, if you buy a ticket and you miss your shuttle, they do let you get on the next one - they’re very flexible in that way.
