Need Help please!

I’m really conflicted in terms of what schools I want to apply for in ED/EA. Main reason is because my ACT/SAT is way too low and I’m also an international student from Canada. Some help on what school would be a match and possible strategies for reach EDs with my current circumstances…

I did the IB program and my predicted is at a 43 with bonus marks (4.0 GPA but I don’t think they convert eitherway)
My best SAT: 1980- waiting for October’s scores, hoping for a better superscore
My best ACT: 29- Taking another one on 24th but won’t be able to see scores ughhhh (34 reading and 24 science last test)

Some of my EC’s:
-Secretary general of my school’s MUN club
-In a 5 person selected Senior Student council (Private school system)
-Tons of executive positions at school clubs
-Won a lot district championships
-Captain of Basketball team (Senior Varsity A)

bump help me out I’m really stressed out :frowning:

Chance me for NYU (Takes diploma instead of sat/act), USC, UCLA, Cornell, Upenn Please!

bump

Your scores are way too low for those schools (I know nothing about the substitute for NYU’s):
USC, UCLA - low reach
Cornell - reach
UPenn -high reach

Agree with ^^^ @uclaparent9, your test scores are too low to be competitive. If interested in the UC’s, consider UCD/UCI and UCSB.

Thanks guys! I’m working hard on my ACT for the 24th.

In terms of NYU Stern, is anyone familiar with what they look for? Stern would be ideal for me since my act/sat arent good but I can send in my IB diploma instead

buump!
