So stern gives several options for test scores. One of them is IB diploma.
They consider only your core points which is out of 42. I have a 40/42 and I am top 5% of the class.
I am an asian Canadian student currently attending a private school. I am going to apply ED I.
Here are my course breakdowns-- scores are out of 7
Geography HL: 7
Math SL: 7
Biology SL: 6
Film HL: 7
Mandarin HL: 7
English HL: 6
Percentage wise, I average to around 96% but I don’t think they weight it like that anyway.
I am really worried about my SL math because I hear Stern highly emphasizes on Math and even though SL math is rigorous and goes beyond Calculus to an extent, I feel like other students with HL math are much better off.
Brief EC breakdown:
Secretary General of Model UN club
Senior Prefect Council (British leadership originated-- one of five males selected)
Executive member of StudentVoice club
In tons of other clubs and also did a bunch of business competitions
Wrote my extended essay research paper (4k words) on Marketing strategies and analyzed case studies
Captain of Basketball and Golf teams
Won a lot of district championships for Basketball, golf, soccer and rugby
