ill answer all these in a bit if no one has, im on my way out the door atm however, the quick glance I had was at your final question on the first post,

yes the problem is can, later in the sentence you see “would” the pair to this would be “could” not “can” so since it is would can would need to be changed to could (for it to be can would, would have to be will)

It’s no error… all other answers have tense errors or awkwardness

But signifies that the opposite point is being made… which it’s not.

Tense error, tended is in past tense

Wrong verb form. You need “includes”

“cranberries and cranberry products” is plural. You need “are”

No antecedent to the pronoun “it”

“when” signifies time. You need “where”

tense error. “could…would”

It’s an incomplete sentence…

It’s talking about Pharoahs. How can it be in present tense?

If you say “by,” you need to signify past tense later in the sentence with “had recorded.” In this case, it’s in present tense, so you need “in”

i dont understand why B is wrong for #2 (first post)

Thanks for the others…most are just careless mistakes.
I guess i zoned out for a while o.O

B for #2 on the first post is wrong because the “whom” is ambiguous. It can be referring to both the Bretons and the French citizens.

I think that’s the problem, at least.

when you use the word “but,” you are signifying a contrary point. “I like to smoke weed, but my mommy doesn’t let me.”

I’m first presenting a point, and then giving a point to counter the first point. In your case, the question elaborates upon the earlier point;not disqualifies it. Therefore, “but” cannot be used.

Bigb14 has pretty much nailed all of the issues here. A couple of fine points/issues to look for:

1) can/would vs. could/would is technically an issue of “mood” rather than tense. “Could” and “would” are both in the subjunctive mood, while “can” is indicative. The subjunctive is used here to express a statement contrary to fact (because you can’t drink gasoline–safely, anyway). The “subjunctive contrary to fact” is a common subjunctive usage. Many foreign language courses include the subjunctive, in case you have not encountered it in English.

2) Re the one about American Sign Language: you always need to check that the sentence has a main verb, which is not being used as a participle, gerund, or verb in a dependent clause. That’s the real issue with “including,” and why you need “includes.”

3) The use of “is” referring to contents of the work of Homer is acceptable, although I agree that it’s iffy in this particular case. To give a better example of the valid use of “is,” when referring to something produced in the past: you can legitimately say that Topic X “is” included in Diderot’s Encyclopedia (even though that was written centuries ago), because if you have a copy of the Encyclopedia available, you can find Topic X there, today.
