Questions from tests #1-3 in the BB2 (Feel free to add on)

Can anyone help explain the answers to these following questions?

Cr Questions:
Test #1, page 392, Section 2, question 10.
Test #3, page 541, Section 7, question 15.
W Questions:
Test #1, page: 411, section 6, question 32.

Oh, and if any of you guys also have questions from these 3 newer tests, feel free to post them. I'll try my best to answer them. I'm confident about the answers to all of the other questions. List them with the test number, page number, question number, and question type (M, W, or Cr). I haven't done most of the other ones though, so please refrain from asking about those. I'm pretty sure there is a consolidated list of those answer explanations somewhere on this site.

I also need help in
Test #1, page 392, Section 2, question 10

I know why A,B and E don’t work but am confused between C and D (correct answer)

Are these 3 newer tests in a separate book or are they part of a larger BB?

They are from the 2nd edition of the BB.

lol. This was from only about 2 weeks ago, but it seems like such a long time. Unfortunately, I have already returned the BB2 to the bookstore(what can I say? I’m cheap). :(

However, anyone else, feel free to respond to these questions.

test 1 section 2 question 10 - just think of what the author does not do,

of course he does not share the impact black americans have on african societies, nor the africans efforts to embrace american culture, because hes saying they are really one in the same, he does not point out the ambivalent feelings of one community for another but rather stresses the relationship between the two communities, nor does he examine cultural ties between two nations(hes talking continents)

so the answer is clearly D

test 3 section 7 question 15 I havent read that passage yet sorry

test 1 section 6 question 32- the current sentence is vague with and leading it, so we know the revision must be clear, and explain what the author means, which is choice C.
A&B are out because they are not clear, D the author really hasnt said he has taken offense at anything else, so why also, this answer is out, E yet consider, implies that there is a difference between what he has been talking about and his new evidence, which there is not, E is out
