My family owns a clothing factory, a salon and a convenience store. I'll be running them in a few years and I want to know what will be the best major for me. I'm thinking of taking Business Administration and Management but I also want to take Graphic Design or Fashion Merchandising too. Is there a way I can study all of these?

You can study anything you want. :)

Yes, at a school that has those options you could definitely double-major in something related to business and something related to fashion or design. I'm not sure what schools are strong in both those areas though. Maybe NYU?

YES! Wow - it's so awesome you are taking over those cool businesses from your parents. It is very gratifying to be working for yourself rather than behind some desk at a big corporation. Business administration and management would compliment graphic design and fashion merchandising very nicely. I would look to double major in some combination of those fields, and concentrate in the third (ex. business with a concentration in fashion merchandising, and a second major in advertising). Also, if you do not qualify for finaid, I would look for schools you could get good scholarship money at. If you will be running your own businesses, it's most important to start with as little debt as possible, and for that reason I wouldn't recommend NYU (they are quite stingy with scholarship money, even for the brightest students). What about something like USC? If you are a national merit finalist, you automatically get half tuition. I know they have a strong business school...I am not sure about the fashion aspect.
