So, I didn't do my dorm stuff till late April, so I pretty much know off campus is the best options.
But I have done a lot of research about the Traditions and Callaway House, can anyone tell me from personal experience what they are like?
Any help is much appreciated.

Gig Em' aggies!

my daughter was in Callaway House last fall/spring. She was in the 4 bedroom 2 bath. It was very convenient to campus and that was a plus. They have a covered parking garage and you can get a personal parking spot, which was also nice. Callaway house is well maintained.
Her complaints about the Callaway House were these:
She tired of the food.
The security can be a little too tight.
There are truely some very very wealthy people in Callaway House, seriously wealthy - and the privlidged can be hard to live with. One of her roommates parents actually have their names on the outside of Reed Arena… one of the cars in the parking garage was a Maybach… didn’t even know what that was until I googled it.

one more thing she told me today about Callaway House.
Because of its location, it is very difficult to get into Callaway house when there is traffic. The light is short at Olsen Blvd and the cars run the light and block her making a left turn into Callaway House off of George Bush. She says sometimes she would sit there three and four times before she would be able to turn into callaway depending on the time of day.

My son lived at Traditions at Northgate for 3 years and loved it. Finally his senior year he moved to an apartment! Now my daughter who is a freshman is moving in and I can’t imagine her living anywhere else. The location is fantastic and they actually have their own bedroom. It really helps when trying to study. Traditions is the best!

Yeah, I have decided to live at the traditions.

Can anyone tell me how the roommate assignments work? Is anyone else planning on living at the traditions?
I am up to a pm if anyone wants to know more so maybe i can have a roommate I decide lol

My son lived in the Traditions this past year and will be living in them again this year. He did potluck on his roommate. If you did the same, you will receive your roommate assignment toward the end of July or early April.
