Need help with my 4 year plan

Hello all! I am a current freshman who is a bit OCD about getting a general idea for the next few years of high school. So, without further ado, my proposed high school plan.

9th:

  • English 1 Honors
  • Precalculus Honors
  • Chemistry Honors
  • Biology Honors
  • AP Human Geography
  • Spanish 2
  • Introduction to Information Technology
  • AP Computer Science A
  • Orchestra

10th:

  • English 2 Honors
  • AP Calculus AB
  • AP Statistics
  • AP Biology
  • Physics Honors
  • AP World History
  • Spanish 3 Honors
  • Computer Systems and Information Technology 1
  • Orchestra

11th:

  • Dual Enrollment Freshman Composition 1/2
  • Dual Enrollment Calculus 2/Multivariable Calculus
  • AP Physics C
  • AP US History OR Dual Enrollment US History
  • AP Spanish Language OR Dual Enrollment Spanish
  • Computer Systems and Information Technology 2
  • Orchestra

12th:

  • Dual Enrollment English electives
  • Dual Enrollment Math
  • Dual Enrollment Sciences (probably physics courses)
  • AP US Government/AP Macroeconomics
  • Computer Systems and Information Technology 3 Honors
    -Orchestra

Now, I have some questions on whether it would be more beneficial to take the AP courses I listed or their equivalent dual enrollment courses. Both give me the same credits and are weighted the same. I am very science and math oriented, therefore I wish to get as far advanced in math and science as possible in my career. Any suggestions on how to do that?

Thank you so much!! I look forward to reading suggestions!

Take the AP courses whenever possible. The vast majority of colleges give credit for good AP scores, but less give credit for dual enrollment.
Also I don’t know how much time you have to do work but as someone who’s taken a lot of the courses you’re listing, you’re going to have a hell of a workload doing all those in one year. Maybe instead of taking 9 classes sophomore year, you could drop a couple and take them junior or senior year.

Also most high schools give you a full year’s worth of credit for a semester of dual enrollment class, so for example instead of doing calculus 2 and multivariables in one year, I would just pick one. If you earn more than a year’s worth of college credits in high school(which it looks like you will) most colleges won’t accept them all and you will have to unnecessarily repeat a course that you already took and did well in. Hope this helps

How are you doing in your classes now? As you know, you have a very very advanced schedule.
Also see how you do on the AP tests. If you get 5 on both, great. If you don’t, then maybe lessen the number of APs.
