I’m a senior in high school. I applied to 4 schools, but I feel like I need more options. I plan to major in criminal justice/criminology or psychology, not 100% sure yet. I’m currently taking one AP class but have taken 6 dual enrollment courses. I have a 3.986 UW GPA and my class rank is 5 of 112. I have been involved in many extracurriculars and volunteer activities. I prefer a medium-large school, anywhere in the US is fine. Any ideas of places I could apply soon before deadlines approach?
Also, forgot to mention I got a 30 ACT
FSU - one of the top criminal justice programs and your GPA and ACT may qualify for the OOS tuition waiver and Freshman Scholarship. Check deadlines as you are late.
Note that criminology is very different from criminal justice (criminal justice is considered a vocational major to prepare future law enforcement officers, either in corrections or the police forces; criminology is a broader, more “legit” field).
UMaryland has a top criminology program but their priority deadline has likely passed - look into it.
