I want to take a high school credit by exam for Algebra 2 over the summer so I can take precal next year. My high school limits the number of correspondence to 2 courses and I’m taking american and world history for those. So does anyone have recommendations for exam prep or even an online class that I could take but not for credit? I am taking either the Texas Tech or UT credit by exam.
Why not Khan Academy? It’s free. My kids like it a lot.
I saw the Khan Academy section for Algebra. I’ve never used KA for classes - only the SAT prep. Does it cover the full class?
@lunds2017 it’s my impression that it does but maybe someone else can chime in. I think some schools use it AS a course (for students working beyond their class, for example). This says it’s a full curriculum https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra2. It probably depends mostly on how well you absorbed Algebra I and how easily you learn independently.
Khan academy does contain a full curriculum, but just make sure you take a look at the UT CBE study guide because there might be some TEKS that Khan doesn’t cover. The study guides also have sample questions for every topic covered.
Khan academy is good.
