Need Opinions: My chances at transferring to UC Santa Barbara?

<p>Alright, here are the facts:</p>

<p>-Current community college student at Foothill College
-Will be transferring this Fall
-Major: Mechanical Engineering</p>

<p>-Current overall GPA: 3.48
-Curent Major GPA: 3.2</p>

<p>-Projected overall GPA by transfer: 3.45
-Projected Major GPA by transfer: 3.32</p>

<p>-Extracurriculars/ Work experience:
Current engineering intern at Stanford Research Institute
Former intern at Synaptics
Captain of high school robotics team</p>

<p>So.... What do you all think are my chances at transferring into UC Santa Barbara?</p>

<p>You’re pretty much average according to the stats 2 years ago. But I’m sure the average GPA has gone up by now.</p>
