need quick help on reading and writing

<p>hello, I am a Junior at a very rigorous school in california.</p>

<p>I am excellent in math, all practice tests have been 760-800.</p>

<p>Where i need help in is reading and writing. practice tests for reading are 580-630 and writing are 610-650. any help for these two would be greatly appreciated. </p>

<p>I have the SAT in a little over a week and am starting to stress out. I would like to get both above 650 and it would be great to have them above 700.</p>

<p>For the CR section, I would recommend taking just a bunch of practice tests to get used to the vocab questions and the reading comp. Look at lists of common vocab words on the SAT (I think Sparknotes has a good one) and just review those words everyday. For the writing, I would focus on the essay. Get somebody to grade them and give you feedback. Good luck!</p>

<p>Learn how to passage map and practice as much as you can before the test (don’t overdo it the night before though).</p>
