*Any advice on English Sections?

<p>I'm looking to raise my cr and writing scores from a 690 and 680, respectively. i took it for the first time in january and have less than a month now to raise these before the march SAT. I'm looking to go into the 730+ range, that would be amazing. I really need to be done with the SATI by march(lots of subject tests, ACT's to do) so i'm preparing like this is my final attempt. </p>

<p>For cr i was wondering what is a good, expansive free list of words on the internet or elsewhere.</p>

<p>And for writing i plan on doing tons of practice problems from the blue book etc just to recognize patterns.</p>

<p>how is this plan, and any other advice?</p>

<p>sounds good to me... i think sparknote's 1000 online is free and good</p>

<p>My brother got a 1997 Gruber's SAT prep book 6 years ago for just 2.99. It has 3400 vocab words and around 200 prefixes, suffixes, and roots. It's very useful, but I don't know if you'd be able find it anywhere =-).</p>
