Need SAT Subject tests?

I heard that some Ivy League schools no longer are requiring SAT subject tests for admission. I only took subject tests for application to good schools. What schools still require the tests?

If you already took them, why does it matter?

@frigidcold I’m just wondering if they still matter for other schools if I decide to take more

If you go to apply to Georgetown, you’ll need 3; I think it’s the only school requiring more than two. Other schools considered near-Ivy equivalents like Duke and Vanderbilt at least consider them (I think the former actually requires them but I’m not sure about the latter) so check into their testing policies before you apply. If you have 700/750+ on AT LEAST two subject tests then unless you’re applying to Georgetown, you don’t need to spend any more money on subject testing.
