So I graduated with a BS this past June and since then, I have been applying for jobs. I haven't had much luck in getting past the first round of interviews. I applied for the master's program at the same school that I attended as an undergrad. I was admitted for winter quarter to start school. However, I was able to pass the first round of interviews for one of the jobs I applied for and I am awaiting for the final round of interview, but it won't happen probably after school has started.

I am not sure if I should drop my classes in hopes that I might get the job or should I attend school and just drop out if I did receive an offer? Not sure if dropping out will look good for future employers.

Why not try to do both? Take the full time program for the winter quarter, and then if you get a job, accept the offer with a start date after winter quarter is over. From there, drop to part time, taking one or two classes per quarter (probably night/weekend courses, unless your employer gives you flexibility), and spread things out over time. I’m not sure that this plan would work, but it would be worth exploring :)

Ok. lol I don’t think I can do part-time since the job is about 4 hours away from school. I guess if the job is offered to me, I’ll see if I can at least start after winter quarter instead of dropping my classes in the middle of the quarter. Thanks for the advice!
