Need some advice on Organic Chem II

<p>So, as a freshman, I just took Organic Chemistry I and received a C (I am an engineer major, but looking at the possibility of applying to med schools). Clearly, this isn't a good grade. </p>

<p>I was thinking of delaying orgo 2 till 2nd semester of my sophomore year so I can review I, and study in advance for II for one year. Would this be a stupid idea ?? I really want to get a better grade for orgo II, but I need some advice on this.</p>

<p>Michigan is notorious for difficult organic chemistry classes... according to pre-dents there. (1/4 of the people who take the class fail.)</p>
