Need some advice please.

Hello I am a first year freshman starting my second quarter at a UC.

I didn't know what I wanted to do upon entering school, so I just started classes on the path to getting a B.S. in Chemistry.

I wanted to be a doctor from a very young age, due to first hand experience with hospitals and physicians.
That said, recently I decided that I would pursue a career in medicine. I have been reading around the forums and from what I gather, I understand that most people satisfy pre-med reqs by the end of their sophmore year.

This year I will have only satisfied Calc and Gchem.

is it adviseable to take Physics/Ochem/Bio in my sophmore year?
to be able to do the Mcat at the end of soph year?

thanks for your replies.

It's not true. Most people finish prereqs during junior year. Taking them after soph year is nice because you get the summer to study, but sometime during junior year is fine to.

Don't worry.
