Need some advice

Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but here goes…

So my story is basically this:

I started my HS life with a B/C average. I was bullied and suffered from depression. About my Junior year I decided to turn myself around and pulled out all A’s until my senior year. I almost graduated in the top ten of my school, but was bumped to 12th by International Students. After I graduated, I had to take time off to support my family financially and to take a breath of fresh air. Academic life was suffocating. Learning to pass a test killed my spirit. After about a year or two, I took classes at a CC. I had to take basic classes in English and Math, because I forgot everything I learned in HS., even though I got all the way to Pre-Cal in HS. I was there for three years. I messed around a lot and took classes that had nothing to do with my degree or low classes to build back my knowledge base. I was doing pretty well up until my final semester of CC, where I barely passed due to, once again, having to pick up a full time job to support my family. I couldn’t juggle full-time school and full-time work. I ended the semester with C’s and I think even a D. My CC allowed you to re-take the courses to replace the grade, but I never went back, like I planned. Now I’ve moved to California, so re-taking those courses is out. My intended field was Film, so I wasn’t too focused on high level academics. But recently I took a strong interest in Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, and I think my past choices may have really screwed me lol.

I’m working full-time right now to support myself and pay off some debts. I’m really interested in getting into Harvard/Harvard Med or even CalTech to Harvard Med. But I already know my academic past won’t get me into those schools right now. I was planning on going to another CC part-time to build my profile up, then transfer to a University, like CalTech, USC, or Harvard, or, if those aren’t possible, even one of the Universities of California to get a degree in Biology or Chemistry (Might do a double major), then try to get into Med school.

I can’t apply to college now till I take care of my debts, so I’m using my time to self-study and build my knowledge base back again. I was even hoping to test out of some courses to speed along my Bachelor degree, since I’m 26 right now and probably won’t be apply till I’m well past 27.

I never took the ACT/SAT tests, since they weren’t required for film school. I plan on taking them when I get closer to applying, so I have more time to study for them.

I have zip for EC’s or volunteering, but I do plan on volunteering soon. And I planned to use my time in CC to go after more ECs. However, I’m wondering if I should just try to get into a University and skip CC? When I get to University, I plan to live on campus and work as little as necessary to focus on my academics. I’d like to get to Med School as fast as I can.

Any advice would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.
