1) I had no idea on how to do a few of the problems last time around. Specifically, ones relating to parabola and complex graphs, and problems with a "remainder". Any help on these types of problems?

2) I can't get to the book store before Saturday, so are there any websites that have a good review of the math concepts needed for the SAT?

1) When you say problems with a remainder...Do you mean like x / 7 has a remainder of 2, what is the remainder of 3x/5?

For these problems, find a multiple of 7 and then + 2 for the remainder so x could = 16. Note that x does not HAVE to equal 16 but as long as you satisfy the req, it's fine.

Then take 16 x 3 = 48/5. You know 48/5 is 9 R3. Therefore, the answer is three.

For parabola, do you mean you have trouble with a x, f(x) concept? Or do you have more trouble with slopes, midpts, distance etc. ?
