I attend a small private school in Pennsylvania. I'm a black student (one of like 15 out of 500 :p) and I'm not sure where to apply/if the schools I want to go to are out of reach.
Here are my stats (Our school has a stamp which they put on our transcripts because it doesn't calculate class rank or GPA but I put together the GPA)

GPA = 3.0 (low 3.0 - freshman/sophomore years did very poorly, senior year 1st semester will help a little i suppose when colleges see that i've improved junior year and senior year [I also hear some colleges don't heavily look at freshman year which would help me tremendously])

SAT = 1880 (660CR 580M 640W) [Retaking, naturally I'm not pleased with my math score] I believe I can also improve my writing scores, but being realistic I would say I will probably get 1940 total after retake (660CR 610M 670W)

EC:
-2nd and 4th Place in league championships in my events for track and field
-Starting player for basketball team (We have one of the hardest schedules in the nation next year, we were rated top25 USA Today last year and in 2002 [ranked #5])
(3 sports Freshman year, 2 sophomore and junior year, I will play 3 next year)
-Have had 2 jobs
-Done volunteer work but not an extensive amount, will probably do a club or two next year
-member of numerous clubs at my school

now, because my GPA isnt very high, I'm not sure if I will be able to get into any of the schools I'm interested in, any help or suggestions are appreciated (I know some may be stretches/reaches)

NYU
UNC (one of my family members went here)
Wake
Georgia Tech
Georgetown

Also my mom went to Northwestern, but I know thats a reach and I'm not sure how much it helps

Thanks in advance
