Need some help.

So I am a grade a procrastinator and have to take it in feb due to the fact I am a senior. It is time to grind my *** off for hours a day. Hopefully I can achieve my goal. btw my goal is now a 34. I doubt I will get a 36 but who knows?

Those are my cold results, which are nowhere near where I need to be. Now, I remember from a while back that people were saying that PR is a beast at preping for English. Could someone confirm this. I heard about many people going from low 20s to high 30s in English using PR. Math is really easy for me at first, but towards the end is where I get stumped. What is the best way to prep for that? I listed all the books and stuff in a post up above. I plan on doing the practice SAT Math parts to get my mind ready for those hard math problems.

btw I decided to attack Math and English first. By next week, maybe even this week I will attack science and reading. I have about 5 weeks to pull this off so any and all help would be appreciated.

Also, it isn't the time constraints I am struggling with on these parts. I usually finish Englsih with about 5 minutes left and math I usually finish on the dot or a little before that. It is just the material I am struggling with. The test I took on Christmas day I don't really take seriously because I wasn't in a great test taking mood and I guessed a lot on both sections because of it.

Well please reply and give your advise. I am off to fill out my ACT registration Packett to mail in today and get 3-4 hours of sleep before school tomorrow. This is going to be a grueling 5 weeks. I hope I can pull this off.

Just so you know, english and math have the most lenient time constraints on the whole test. I personally finish english with about 10 minutes left and math with close to 30 minutes left. The reading and science sections take me the whole time, maybe 1-2 minutes extra at the end. You aren't going to be anywhere near our goal of 34 if you can't speed up.

And taking a test a 2nd or 3rd time is no longer considered taking it cold. You already have experience with the format and time constraints, which are the major factors.

To get anywhere near your goal, you will have to work hours a day most likely. You are currently missing about 10 times as much as you are allowed to miss to get a 34. There is no magic formula to get you to improve with only about a week available for each section.

Just study whatever you can whenever you can. Stop wasting time in school and at home, study in ALL your free time. Put 8+ hours a day in and you just might get to your goal of 34.

But in all seriousness, people spend months/years to improve their 21s to 30s. You are aiming much higher than they are and you have much less time. You also show that you are much less motivated by the way you procrastinate.

I don't really want to put you down, but put all this into perspective and reassess your goals and expectations. And besides most the good colleges that would require a 34+ don't even accept February scores.

I put in 4 hours today and plan on putting in a lot more in the coming days and weeks. I took all 3 practice tests without any studying is what I meant.

I know the math and english parts won't be hard as I am good in math and english just requires you to know the rules. If I grind my ass off studying I may be able to do it.

Reading and Science scare me but I still have 32 days to do this...

I really just want to get into LSU, which you only need a 25 for I beleieve, but I want an awesome scholarship from them or something.
