So, I just cannot seem to decide on a major! I spent my freshman year at UAB, before transferring to a community college due to financial reasons. I will transfer next year elsewhere, but just cannot decide on a major. I LOVE history, and I have always wanted to be a teacher. How viable of a route is that in today's world and economy? I was also leaning towards communicative disorders, but I just don't know.

Any help at all would be beyond appreciated, I'm so stressed out!

If you LOVE history and you want to become a teacher, then you should pursue those interests. Major into something that interests you most and you will do well in college. If you also love to write and are interested in foreign languages, maybe you should pursue a liberal arts degree and incorporate all of those interests. You are trying to obtain a Bachelors degree, and in these days, a Master’s degree or Graduate/Professional degree is what really counts in determining your career, not your bachelors. Pursue your interests for your undergrad work and if you do well, which you most likely will, it will help your chances of getting into a Graduate or a Professional school of your choice.
