Need specific CPA Accounting Big 4 advice

I'm looking into accounting and plan to get a CPA in Northern California. I want to get into the big 4, but I will be completing the rest of my accounting courses after graduation, so I will miss fall recruitment, and when firms recruit on campus. I want to see from anyone experienced if there is a way I can just complete the requirements to sit and get picked up by a big 4 at a later time?

I've heard some things about getting in, but I'm not sure if this is the smart/easiest/wise route. I'd like any help from anyone with a Big 4 accounting background in California and I'd have some questions about getting the CPA as well.

I also have some financial questions I want to discuss, but I don’t know if this is the forum to ask, but if anyone fits the profile can help I’d like to talk

Wait, I thought you wanted to do consulting?

Thank you, Medwell. But don’t you get it. By having multiple threads with differing objective, eventually someone will give them the answer they want to hear.

seeker12, what is it you want to do with your life? And being uncertain is allowed.

you know it’s possible to do both

Then say that!
