I posted this in another thread, and am re-posting here because there might be a chance that one of you are from California with knowledge who can help.

I'm looking into accounting and plan to get a CPA in Northern California. I want to get into the big 4, but I will be completing the rest of my accounting courses after graduation, so I will miss fall recruitment, and when firms recruit on campus. I want to see from anyone experienced if there is a way I can just complete the requirements to sit and get picked up by a big 4 at a later time?

I've heard some things about getting in, but I'm not sure if this is the smart/easiest/wise route. I'd like any help from anyone with a Big 4 accounting background in California and I'd have some questions about getting the CPA as well.

Also, I have some financial questions I want to discuss, but I don't know if this is the forum to ask, but if anyone fits the profile can help I'd like to talk
