I understand that in high school, every year your need to select harder courses comparing to previous years courses to keep challenge yourself. I think this is called up trend?
We have 6 academicals courses (Math, Language Arts, Social Study, Science, Elective, language)
Please help me to see whether Juniors course load a kind of light compare to Sophomore years.

*** Sophomore year ***
[Pre-Calculus], [Honor Journalism], [AP Chemistry], [AP US History],[ Honor Biology], [Spanish 3]

*** Junior year ***
[AP Calculus],[ AP Language], [Honor Physics], [AP Government],[ AP Computer Science], [Spanish 4]

Yeah its really nice to keep up the Scholarly Trend…

If there’s classes you WANT to take for the sake of Wanting to take it … for fun maybe… do it.

My junior year classes…

Honors Senior Math (not calc not pre calc but higher than Algebra 2)
Honors Chem
Honors modern us history (took APUSH last year graduation requirement)
AP English Lang
Art I (grad requir)
Gym III (elective)
Advanced Choir II

Am i going to be rank one with these classes… (sadly i could my school is full of idiots not the point)

I enjoy… going to school everyday and i learn a lot from all of my classes.

If you don’t like government… dont waste your time in it. If you love… idk photography… take that instead.

I’m taking Four years of Choir and Gym. I wouldn’t take that decision back.

Thanks for your reply.
Taking courses is not just for fun. First of all we have to meet high school graduation requirement, then we need to take the most challenging courses we are able to handle.

I am not sure whether junior year course looks like keep up the Scholarly Trend comparing to sophomore year course.

Well, let me just that one other thing you should take in account of when taking classes is the quality of those classes. I didn’t sign up for AP Biology or AP Government because the teachers were horrible and had numerous accounts of 1s and 2s. My AP calc teacher on the other hand had everyone pass the test, so the type of teacher does play a part. Also, I would keep a balance, it seems like you’re loaded on APs and Honors classes, if you can maintain a good GPA definitely go for it, otherwise I would take some [fun] electives and such.

Our school is a big public school; any course has great teachers and bad teachers. You cannot know which teacher you will get during course selection.

We have to take one kind of Government course in order to graduate.

I am just afraid ‘Honor Physics’ and ‘AP Government’ look like light in junior.
